Stanley, ND - Maintain, install, assemble and test electrical wiring and equipment for industrial use following local and national electrical codes.
As an electrician, you will configure and wire various brands of AC/DC controllers and VFDs. Using electrical schematics, you will design, bend and fill conduit to proper code specifications. You will work both indoors and outdoors.
Requirements – High school diploma, with two years of trade school preferred. Ability to speak fluent English. Pass a pre-employment drug screen. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as inside near heavy machinery and in conditions that include loud noise and fumes. Able to life and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance. Able to perform work on uneven surfaces, frequently climb ladders, on/off equipment and work from various heights. Able to visually distinguish among red/blue/green/yellow colors, hear and without training distinguish auditory signals. Bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights. Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Provide your own personal hand tools (power tools are provided).
Sioux Falls, SD - PLC / SCADA - involvement in Oil & gas, Water & Waste water and Ethanol sectors, to name a few.
As a System Integrator you will need to be proactive, be capable of working on your own and within a team. You will be required to apply your technical skills to undertake system PLC/HMI programming and commissioning for a number of control systems utilizing (Rockwell/Allen Bradley) (WonderWare) (GE) PLC’s & HMI platforms.
Requirements – You must have 2 or more years of experience in design of PLC systems. You must have the ability to analyze problems, specify solutions and implement solution. Due to the nature of the role you will be required to work out of the office at client’s site (may be 50% plus travel time) which will sometimes require working outside of normal working hours and you must have a valid full driving license.
Panel Shop Technician
Sioux Falls, SD - Assist in fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting panels during the assembly process.
As a Panel Shop Technician, you will assist in reading General Adjustment and P & ID drawings, as well as assist with the fabrication of bracket braces and instrument racks as needed and with performing required testing of end devices. Other functions include:
– Assist in running conduit of varying sizes.
– Check in parts by comparing packing slip against order confirmation.
– Place all required documents on Y drive.
– Make final electrical connections after installation of conduit and tubing
– Report any problems arising during the test cycle on units.
– Troubleshooting issues.
– Assist in testing control panels and making connections which ensure the function of the panel yields accurate results.
– Assist in certifying units, final inspection and test documents
– Assist with making changes to panel selection, wiring, etc.
– Assist in maintaining a file of installation design and technique for new units through pictures and diagrams.
– Work with suppliers of electrical components to design hook-ups on panels
– Help with mechanical assembly as needed
Requirements – You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (Vocational or technical education a plus!). You must also exhibit excellent communication skills. You must also have good mechanical aptitude, and a familiarity with electrical control systems. You are required to have neat and quality worksmanship. Detail-oriented and able to follow electrical wiring diagrams is a must. You must be proficient at operating hand and electric tools correctly and safely, as well as participate in the Quality Improvement Process as required.
